Our HALF DAY TOUR caters for the first time fishermen to the keen experienced fisherman and the whole family!

It is safe and exciting for all levels of experience! Our fishing spots are all within the Cairns Inlet, so the water is always calm, even if the weather seems rough elsewhere! Sea sickness is not an issue in this calm location, and all our boats have a Sunshade Canopy to protect you from the strong Tropical North Queensland Sun.

You will start your half day experience by using a Cast net to catch live Bait. If tide is runnning in, we catch small live Sardines, if tide is runnning out, we catch live prawn. If no live bait is caught, don't worry, you wont miss out. We have backup frozen bait! We keep our caught live bait in our live bait tank on board.

From here we move to our secret fishing spots and start fishing! This is where the excitement really kicks in! You could catch anything from small Grunter, or some of the many Tropical North Queensland fish or maybe even a 1m long Barramundi! All of this while admiring the beautiful scenery of the Cairns Inlet, the ancient mangrove systems and the bird and wildlife which lives in it!

Our boat does not have onboard toilet facilities,so be prepared before we leave, however if it really is nesesary, please let The Captain know anytime.
